Son Caliu adjoins the nearby resort of Palma Nova and is an extremely popular residential area comprising a great mix of European nationality. This little town is a hive of activity and has every conceivable amenity right here on the doorstep.
There is a pretty little beach area in the “old” part of town with lovely golden sands and shallow waters and a handful of Hotels including a fabulous 5 star spa resort.
There is plenty to keep you occupied in the area with a whole host of sporting opportunities including several gymnasiums, Tennis Courts and swimming facilities and one will find opportunities for golf within a 5 minute drive from here.
There are several large supermarkets which cater for a wide variety of European tastes and a number of restaurants.
The area is comprised of a number of Mediterranean style Villas and also is home to a large number of apartments of various price ranges. Son Caliu is mainly a residential area and sees little seasonal change between the summer and winter months.
