Mallorca The Choice Of El Corte Ingle
The famous and very prestigious department store of El Corte Ingles has chosen the beautiful island of Mallorca to film its next large national marketing campaign.
Over the month of June there has been a large team of 80 crew on location here on the island busily shooting clips for this very popular store, which are due to be aired from July 2016 onwards.
They have chosen several locations of particular interest including Alcudia, which is famous for having the islands longest and in the opinion of many people the most stunning of beaches due to its fine white sands, turquoise and very calm waters which would not be out of place in the Carribean.
Various locations in the cosmopolitain city of Palma were also chosen due to the particularly quaint cobbled streets which are full of charm and character as well as the magnificent Paseo Maritimo with a harbour which stretches several kilometres.
There were no celebrities used for this years filming and models and local extras were brought in for the task.
We are not surprised that Mallorca was chosen being perhaps the prettiest area of the whole of Spain and look forward to seeing familiar and fabulous places on our screens this summer.
